Three friends lost Dads or husbands this week. One is a woman whose brother-in-law was a conservative Republican member of Congress, another who lost their Dad/husband are active Democrats with the wife being a former Idaho State Senator and the third was a man whose politics I don’t know. The point is that regardless of our politics, we’re all people…human beings who lose loved ones, have varying opinions, backgrounds, religious beliefs, educations, who go to the grocery store, who laugh, cry, grieve, and have lives aside from their politics. So in the midst of the heated political discussions that will occur in the given months, remember those you disagree with are human too…
